the paraglider and mountain biker, the extensive waterways lure those who wish to canoe or sail.
Inland drives will underline the beauty of the mountain views, and short forests walks will allow you to
investigate the wonders of this old forest. You may even come eye to eye with the elusive Knysna Loerie!
Take a trip on the renowned Outeniqua Choo-tjoe Steam Train which winds its way along the coast and past
the lakes on a 67 km journey to Knysna.
From Dolphin's Point on the N2, you can view the world famous Kaaiman's Bridge or watch dolphins
playing in the surf. From May, every year, the Southern Right Whales will stun you with their presence.
The historical background will take you back as far as the middle and late 19th century and the
St. Aidan's Chapel, dating as far back as the 1900', still holds services on Sundays.
For the golf enthusiast many excellent courses have been developed along the coastline.
The Malachite Country House is only 20 km away from the Fancourt Estate and it's four superb golf courses.
One of them, The Links, hosted the President's Cup in 2003!
The Wilderness is a perfect location from where neighbouring towns like Knysna (45km), Plettenberg Bay (80km),
Mossel Bay (70km) and George (15km) can be visited.
